Privacy Policy

When you ask for an audit, we collect your name, business name, phone, email, and whatever you tell us about your business. We use it to prepare your audit and to contact you about it.
We look at information that is already public — your Google listing, your reviews, your website, and what shows up when someone searches for a business like yours.
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone except the services we use to send email and store our own files.
Ask us to delete your information at any time and we will, by writing to contact@rocketcore.co.
Analytics and cookies
We measure how this website is used, so we can see which pages are useful and make the site better. We do it with our own analytics system, on our own server. No advertising or third-party analytics company receives the data. Whether we ask you first depends on where you are.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, nothing is collected until you choose. Until you accept in the cookie banner, our analytics sends nothing and stores nothing on your device. If you decline, nothing is collected.
Everywhere else, analytics runs unless you opt out. No cookie banner is shown, and our analytics runs by default. You can opt out at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page; if you decline there, your choice is remembered and our analytics stops. We also honour Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends it, we treat it as an opt-out and our analytics does not run.
How we know which applies. Until you have answered the banner, your browser asks our server once per page which country your IP address is in, only to decide whether to ask for your consent. The request carries no cookie and reads nothing from your device. Neither your IP address nor the answer is stored, and no cookie records the result. If your country can't be worked out, or the check fails, we show the banner and ask.
What we collect when analytics runs:
- The pages you visit — their address, path and title — and the page you came from.
- Campaign tags in the address you arrived on (UTM parameters), if there are any.
- Your browser, operating system and type of device, read from what your browser tells every website; your screen size, language and time zone.
- Your approximate location — country, region and city — worked out from your IP address when your visit arrives. Your IP address itself is not stored.
- A random device identifier, created in your browser, so visits from the same browser can be recognized. It is not linked to your name.
- A session identifier, so the pages of one visit can be grouped together.
We don't use analytics to collect your name, email or phone, and what you send through the audit form is not linked to it.
What is stored on your device when analytics runs:
rc_did— the random device identifier, in a cookie (up to 400 days) and in your browser's local storage (until you withdraw consent or clear your browser's data).rc_sid— the session identifier, in session storage, until you close the tab.rc_lastandrc_sday— when you were last active, in local storage, so a new visit starts a new session.rc_q— visits not sent yet, for example if you went offline, in local storage until they are sent.rc_consent— your answer to the banner, in a cookie, for 180 days. This one is strictly necessary, and it is stored whichever answer you give, so we don't ask again on every page.
Why we're allowed to. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), and storing and reading the identifiers above on your device relies on your consent too. Everywhere else: our legitimate interest in understanding how our own website is used, which you can object to at any time through Cookie settings or Global Privacy Control.
How long we keep it. Analytics data is kept for 13 months and then deleted.
Changing your mind. Wherever you are, you can change your answer at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. If you decline, our analytics stops right away and deletes the identifiers it stored in your browser. Data collected before then is kept for the period above, unless you ask us to delete it.
Who is responsible. RocketCore, a TalaLabs LLC company, decides how this data is used and is responsible for it. Our analytics server is hosted by Hetzner in Germany, in the European Union. To see, correct or delete your data, to limit or object to how we use it, or to get a copy of it, write to contact@rocketcore.co. You can also complain to your data-protection authority.
If we ever change this policy, the date above changes with it.
